After-School Program in Almaty
The after-school program at the BOZKA education centre is a structured learning space where a child rests after school, does their homework with a teacher on hand, and prepares for the next school day.
We meet children after lessons and bring them to the centre, help them work through difficult topics, prepare them for tests and close gaps in what they have covered. The program runs at three locations in Almaty.
What the after-school program includes
Accompanying your child to and from school
We take a child to school, or meet them after class and bring them to Bozka. Whether this is available depends on where the school is and which branch the child attends. Parents do not have to worry about the journey between school and the centre.
Homework
After school a child does their homework with a teacher on hand. We do more than check that the work is done: we help a child work through difficult tasks, explain anything unclear, and build the habit of working independently.
Preparing for upcoming lessons
We look further than what was set today. A teacher helps a child prepare for the lessons ahead: revising the rules they will need, recalling earlier material and meeting upcoming topics in advance. New material is then far easier to take in at school.
Preparing for tests and assessments
Before tests and assessments we revise the relevant topics with the child, work through typical questions and give extra attention to whatever is causing difficulty. Our goal is not to get a child through one test, but to help them genuinely understand the material.
Consolidating the school curriculum
During lessons we return to topics already covered, consolidate them and help a child apply what they know in practice. We pay particular attention to topics that were not fully absorbed at school.
Closing gaps in knowledge
When a topic is proving difficult, a teacher helps the child work through it and close the gap. This prevents the situation where misunderstood material accumulates and becomes the cause of later trouble at school.
Reading and cognitive skills
Depending on the group's program, children may work on reading, speed reading, mathematics, logic tasks and exercises that develop attention, memory and thinking.
Social skills and independence
The after-school program is also a chance to learn to organise your own time, get along with peers, follow the group's rules, finish what you start and gradually become more independent.

For parents
You do not have to organise your child's study after your own working day. At Bozka we help make their day more structured: we meet them after school, accompany them, help with homework, prepare for upcoming lessons and give attention to the topics causing difficulty. You can get on with your day knowing your child is in a safe, educational environment.
More than just after-school care
We believe the hours after school can become an important part of a child's education. That is why Bozka brings together care, teaching, development and time well spent with others. Our aim is that a child does not simply get the homework done, but understands the material, is ready for the next school day, and gradually learns to handle their studies on their own. Work through a difficult topic today and tomorrow's lesson is already easier.
