Academic Development for School Students in Almaty
Academic development at the BOZKA education centre covers the subjects that support school work: mathematics for grades 1–11, speed reading, calligraphy, chess and speech therapy.
These classes can be taken on their own or combined with the after-school program, where the child already spends the afternoon. The centre has three locations in Almaty.
What we teach
- Mathematics for school studentsMathematics for grades 1–11: the school curriculum, closing gaps, logic problems and preparation for competitive lyceum entry.
- Speed readingFrom age 5: reading speed and fluency, comprehension, attention and memory, plus neuro-gymnastic exercises.
- Handwriting and calligraphyHand position, letter formation and joins, legible handwriting, fine motor skills and graphic skills.
- Speech therapyOne-to-one sessions: pronunciation, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, connected speech, and preparation for reading and writing.
- ChessOne-to-one and group lessons for beginners and improvers, with weekend groups available.
