Speed reading for children in Almaty
Faster reading that is still read, not skimmed
The speed-reading program is for children aged 5 and up, and builds reading that is fast, accurate and understood.
The emphasis is not on speed alone but on keeping comprehension with it: effective reading is working with information, not simply taking a page in quickly. Younger children focus on visual attention, memory and the basic reading skill; school students add work with study material.
What lessons develop
- reading speed and fluency
- accuracy and expression
- sustained attention and concentration
- visual processing of text
- memory
- grasping the content and the main idea

- carrying out a sequence of steps
